The BTA Foundation has officially released the list of 101 successful applicants for the Oyinbo Farmer Scheme 2024 training program. This initiative, aimed at empowering people in the agricultural business sector, has garnered attention and participation from aspiring farm businessmen across Ekiti, Isin, Oke Ero, and Irepodun LGAs.
The Oyinbo Farmer Scheme is designed to provide comprehensive training programs covering modern farming techniques, sustainable marketing practices, and business management. Participants will also receive practical branding knowledge and experience, learn how to sell food to both individual homes and companies within Nigeria, learn how to export and sell foodstuffs to Nigerians abroad, social media marketing and WhatsApp marketing. In addition to the training, ten (10) beneficiaries will be granted start-up support of Fifty Thousand (N50,000) Naira each as take-off grants. The foundation has assured that the selection process was transparent and fair, aimed at identifying those who will make the best use of the opportunities provided.
