*Oyinbo Farmer 2024: Empowering the Next Generation of Agri-Business Entrepreneurs
The BTA Foundation is thrilled to announce the commencement of the Oyinbo Farmer Scheme training program on September 25th, 2024. This initiative is set to empower individuals in the agri-business sector with essential skills and resources to excel in the industry.
Kicking off with a comprehensive session on September 25th, participants will dive into an enriching experience designed to transform their agricultural ventures. The training schedule is packed with strategic activities:
1. – *WhatsApp Marketing and how to close sales:* September 26th at 5pm, where trainees will learn to leverage this powerful communication tool for business growth.
2. *Facebook Leads Generation, Ads Marketing, and Content Creation:* Scheduled for September 27th, this session will equip participants with the skills to reach wider audiences and boost their agri-business presence online.
3. *Export of Foodstuffs:* Taking place in Omu Aran on September 28th at 2pm, this practical session will guide participants through the intricacies of international trade.
4. *Selling Foodstuffs in Nigeria:* Later that day at 7pm, the focus will shift to maximizing local market potential through online platforms.
5. *Branding Workshop: (distal branding branding, logos, flyers, stickers and domestic branding*: On September 29th at 12pm in Omu Aran, participants will learn how to establish a strong brand identity that resonates with consumers.
The program will culminate with the awarding of a business grant: ten fortunate beneficiaries will receive N50,000 each to kickstart their ventures.
The Oyinbo Farmer Scheme is not just a training program; it’s a movement to empower young minds from unemployment, steering them towards creativity and productivity. By implementing value addition and marketing skills, agriculture can become a lucrative and sustainable career path.
This year’s edition promises to produce at least three innovative products poised to succeed in both local and international markets. The curriculum covers modern farming techniques, sustainable practices, business management, and more, ensuring participants receive a holistic education.
