I had the privilege of speaking with Chief Akeweje Adebisi Adeyemi, then President of the Omu Aran Development Association, in 2019. As President of Kwara South Youth Development Organisation (KWAYORG), I was struck by his passion for community development and revitalization. Our meeting with his executives left me impressed and inspired by his uncommon drive. Despite my initial hesitation, he encouraged me to attend ODA’s Annual General Meetings, and his response to my concerns was remarkable.
After researching his achievements, I was impressed by his accomplishments, including his tenure as Registrar at Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State. He has since been a guiding figure, offering valuable guidance and support. Even after I became ODA’s Legal Adviser and on my exit, he continued to mentor me.
Today, I commend his mentorship, passion, and drive for Omu Aran Community’s development. His fatherly guidance has contributed significantly to my growth.
Happy Birthday, Chief Akeweje Adebisi Adeyemi. May you have many more years in Jesus’ name.
