BTA Foundation Celebrates Democracy Day
The BTA Foundation has congratulated Nigerians as the country celebrates another significant step in the history of her political freedom.
The Foundation advocated that citizens must rethink their attitude toward governance, noting that regardless of who they vote for during elections, they must demand accountability, rethink the system, and question the actions of those who govern them.
“An engaged, well-educated electorate is at the heart of strong democratic societies. Creating an environment in which young people feel their voice counts is crucial.”
The Foundation, therefore, urges citizens to rise above their differences and difficulties and work towards a brighter future, stressing that no development can be achieved in an acrimonious society.
