BTA Shortlists Successful Applicants For Go Corporate, 40 Entrants Make List

Sequel to thorough assessments and painstaking scrutiny of barely 300 applications for the Go Corporate Initiative, the BTA Foundation has released the names of 40 successful applicants for the free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration Services.
Disclosing this on Friday evening, the President of the Foundation, Barrister Titilope Akogun emphasized the benefits attached to business registration, regardless of the size and value of the enterprise, while commending applicants for their vision, empathy, and decisiveness to navigate the challenges associated with businesses.
While explaining the process of selecting the successful applicants, he revealed that approximately 265 entries were trimmed down to 64, and following critical assessments of the credentials of provisional candidates, which include state of origin, voter card, or NIN to ascertain their citizenship status, especially the local government each of them claimed based on the data they submitted.
According to him, “The appraisal simply helps us in arriving at the final figure which is 41, after discovering some contradictions in the document submitted and data presented in the course of enrollment. However, local governments such as Irepodun got the highest number of slots because many entries were received from them. This was the yardstick for assigning higher slots to Irepodun and Ekiti, most notably.”
