BTA Foundation Closes Registration for “Go Corporate”, Increases Beneficiaries By 100%

The BTA Foundation has, on Wednesday 15th May 2024, officially announced the closure of registration for the “Go Corporate” initiative following a 5-day application window.

It would be recalled that the management of the Foundation had on Saturday 11th May 2024 released the link for the application of a free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration Services, inviting entries from individuals and businesses to certify and elevate their trades.

The Foundation, after thorough assessments has decided to increase the number of beneficiaries from 20 to 40, after receiving nearly 300 applications within the short period of registration.

According to a statement made available by the Foundation President, Amofin Titilope Akogun, “the foundation received a whopping 255 applications in the space of 5 days. That was never beyond our expectations considering the increasing number of evolving businesses in recent times. This is why we have decided to reconsider the number of beneficiaries that we already made provisions for.

“As it stands, we have unanimously agreed to double the number of beneficiaries, taking it to 40, from 20. However, the screening exercise for our entries shall run for two days; between the 15th and 17th of May, 2024, in two batches. Equally, the publication of successful applicants’ names is scheduled likewise in two batches; Batch A falls on the 18th of May 2024 and Batch B, on the 22nd of May, respectively,” the President added.

Amofin Akogun further stated that the collection of registration documents starts on the 23rd and ends on the 30th of May, 2024, while the commencement of registration has been pegged for Saturday, June 1st till Sunday 30th of June 2024.

The Foundation urges applicants to follow up on updates about the ongoing initiative on its website https://btaglobalfoundation.org or on its social media handles to avoid missing key information.
