The President of the BTA Foundation and the Pioneer President of the Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAYORG), Barrister Titilope Akogun has congratulated the President-Elect of the Organization, Abolarin Sarafadeen (Dan Sarafa) over his victory at the poll.
Akogun in a press statement signed and made available on Sunday morning described the victory of Dan Sarafa as the will of God and that of KWAYORG members who partook in the electoral processes.
The statement partly read, “It is my delight to see the Organization gradually fulfilling the foundational objectives of the large majority of young people in Kwara South getting involved in the politics and advocacy for a better, virile, productive Kwara South.
“I was impressed with his manifestos and it would be fulfilling if a large percentage of the manifestos could be attempted for implementation. I look forward to working with the new Executives towards the advancement of Kwara South,” Akogun added.
While expressing gratitude to the Independent Electoral Committee (ELCOM) for working assiduously to create a level playing field for all contestants, Akogun affirms the need for sustained commitment to all efforts aimed at ensuring peaceful coexistence in the organization, urging the victors to prioritize the common good of KWAYORG over personal interests.
