BTA Foundation is a non-governmental organization that aims to improve the lives of people in rural and urban communities through various interventions. Some of the interventions that BTA Foundation has implemented are:

– Mechanized Agricultural Revolution Project (MARP): This project was designed to empower one farmer on an hectare of land, using the CBN Anchor Borrowers’ Scheme as a model. The project provided farmers with inputs, equipment, training and access to markets, to boost their productivity and income.

– Igi Iwe intervention (Education Tree): This intervention was focused on enhancing the quality of education for students in 14 schools across different communities. The intervention donated educational materials such as books, bags, uniforms and stationery to the students, and also awarded scholarships to 52 bright pupils in elementary schools, to support their academic pursuits.

– Food materials to the Vulnerables: This intervention was aimed at alleviating the food insecurity and hunger faced by many vulnerable people in the society, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The intervention distributed food items such as rice, beans, garri, oil and salt to over 1000 households in need.

– Operation Safe Water intervention: This intervention was targeted at improving the access to safe and clean water for drinking and domestic use in various communities. The intervention drilled boreholes, installed water tanks and pipes, and repaired existing water facilities in selected locations.

– Roads, culvert and drainages repair: This intervention was intended to enhance the road infrastructure and reduce the risk of flooding in some communities. The intervention constructed and repaired roads, culverts and drainages in strategic areas, to facilitate smooth transportation and drainage of rainwater.

– Human Capacity trainings: This intervention was aimed at developing the skills and potentials of young people in various fields of endeavor. The intervention organized trainings on entrepreneurship, digital literacy, leadership, communication and other relevant topics for youths in different communities.

– Business support for market women: This intervention was designed to empower over 200 market women in different communities with financial and material support for their businesses. The intervention provided them with interest-free loans, grants, equipment and mentoring, to help them grow their businesses and income.
